The iMac is an all in one solution, it does this by using Laptop parts, but can have better specs because of better airflow.

Also, the '8800 GS' is actually a full desktop 8800 GTS underclocked!

PC all the way

1. can run mac (kalyway) , linux, and microsoft.
2. great for gaming
3. customizable
4. durable
5. not so great with viruses, but why do you think the computer manufacturer gives you recovery cd's?
6. really cheap (somewhat quality but also price, depends on how you treat your computer)

Linux

because...

-Its free
-Its not surporting U know hu
-It has built in free programs the same as many windows ones
-easy to install on a new pc
-has tonns of free software you can get
-can emulate windows
-Has The GIMP built in
-allows you to more interact with your computer allowing you to overclock it and optimize it to new levels.
-86% of all virus or sumfing is for PC, 13% MAC, 1% linux meaning the chances of picking up spyware or virus that can auctualy harm more than one program your system is almost zero.
-Less crashes Than PC
-Allows you to code your own addons and plugins with little programming knowledge
-now has built in multimedia programs and you can optimize you media experience

and the list goes on till infinaty, once you switch to linux and use some effort to work out the new system you will never turn back.

I would buy a Mac, and put all 3 OS on there.
You gotta admit. Mac hardware is pure sex. But Vista is a better OS :P.

I would probably have to disagree
PC hardware is MUCH cheaper for the same as Mac Hardware, but Macs in general are more aesthetically pleasing, and the better OS is more opinionated.
