Cyber Emailed me this code he said he did not have an actual microcontroller to test it but he thinks it will work...

so wait you dont need any crystal's cap or anything like that for this to work?

no crystal needed but you still need the 2 resisters  on the switches

anyone confirm this fully working?

which resistors are needed?

i think i read on another post 10k resistors, my question is where do u put them?

Could people not just copy the consolecustoms tutorial?

Although they do use a 1.8k resistor and a transistor 2n3904

How would the wiring for the switches work out. I would really appreciate a diagram of wiring between the chip and the board. I only want to do the triggers so how could I wire it for that. Ive got a bet with friend that I cant figure out how to do this so I really need this diagram.

if you mean the wiring from the PIC chip to the tact switch, i think, according to others, it would be like this:

and if you mean where the ground(VSS) and the power(VDD) points are then here:

this is for wireless controller by the way, mine is a cg type board

and for the r trigger point:

- so a wire pin 1 would go to ground point as pictured

- a wire from pin 8 would go to the power point as pictured

- a wire from pin 7 and would go to the r trigger point on the board as pictured

- a wire from pin 5 would go to a 10k resistor, then solder a wire from the other side of the resistor, this wire will go to one side on the switch your going to use for rapid fire (refer back to the drawn picture)

- then solder a wire to the other side of the switch and then solder to i think pin 1 which is ground ( correct me if im wrong)

turn on the controller and make sure everything is fine, if the chip gets extremely hot then a resistor is needed, maybe a 10k one

this is what i see and would do according to the diagram, i have not done this or tested this so i do not know if it works this way, it is just a rough guide according to what i see from the diagram. anyone correct any mistakes if i am wrong

thanks

i was gonna order a few kits from ebay for friends, but ill wait on yor hex kingmike, and if it works ill just make a donation to you.

would be great if the new buttons were on/off switches for rapidfire on the triggers.

also if you into making a special code for some one for a donation pm me.

Hi there, can we use the following wiring tut, and simply replace the 1K resistors to 10K, or the 100K suggested in another post?
Thanks in advance.

my Controller is working is just the chip was getting to hot and shorthing out the controller.

any way as of now i got 683 work but i have open pin problem that means the rapidfire is always

on can't be turn off so need some more testing i been working with 2 other people on this for 3 days

now so as of Now the code is no good and the will not work till i get some result.

This gose for both chip and hex file that was release.

i'm assuming the guy pulled the code from the PIC, anyone test to confirm working? i dont have any PIC or even a programmer so i cant do it. though people on ebay say they have put hard work into making the code, that's a load of crap, most of them just pulled the code from someone else.

yes i tested with some one it its very buggy ... it will fire 3 - 4 slow than pause than fire the rest of the clip very fast.

same result every time. when the switch is press its start very slow. most people will not release there working code

or lock there code since they have something to hide. like this guy consolecustoms and charge people $33.00 per kit that cost

no more than $5.00

here the update on 683 i have got it to work on a new style controller with only 4 wire and switch.

And here is the old style working same way 4 wire only ...

Well the one guy from ebay uses a 1k ohm resistor, so I imagine that he has it programmed and set up the right way in his settings. By using a 10k ohm resistor, would that not let as much voltage to come from the switch? how could it then heat up? The one kit I have here that I have not installed in the controller has two tactile switches and the 12F683 chip ( but does it not matter what chip we use?) and the ik ohm resistors. Remember the resistors also have a tolerance rating. I am more or less grasping at straws here. But I do know the kits I was sent I installed 3 of them and they work fine, I think the program is fine but its the hardware were using here. I can't wait till I go to university for my electronics engineering course. This :censored: would be easy to do if I had it under my belt already and then I could help. Anyway could it not be the chip, there are like 7 different styles of the 12F683. If you want the info off my chip I can give you that. Let me know

Cheers

So I ordered chips and the programmer.
Can someone tell me where I can find the wiring diagram for the 8-pin for the Older Wireless Board?
ConsoleCustoms has one on his site, but he's using a transistor which seems goofy...

wiring would be different to consolecustoms as it is a different hex code to theirs

There's a conflict in the instructions.
I think PIN 1 is supposed to be Power, Pin 8 is Ground.
Regardless, this hex load on the chip, and I wired it up, though it doesn't work.

I'd be willing to donate 5 bucks if you can help me on this.
Can someone make a diagram like this; it might be easier to understand?

its not really difficult, theres the pinout here, i'll explain it:

solder a wire to pin 1, this will go to power.
solder a wire to pin 8, this will go to ground.
solder a wire to pin 5, this will go to one of the pins on your switch
solder a wire to the other pin on the switch, then solder the other end of that same wire to the r trigger point.

heres a few pics i made explaining where the power, ground and r trigger points are on the board:

power and ground as labeled

r trigger

Like I said in the 4 wire post your showing the picture for, I didn't have a problem with that.
It works fine.
It must be the hex then.
