Fuse to Fuse Situation
« on: August 08, 2008, 10:43:46 AM »
everything works except the Backligth  Flex cable of 4 pins in, cable get messed up when Hooking up, and the pins fell off...

Now it doesn't have pins -_-

But I was thinking if I can solder another cable to the fuse inside the back light   on the left of all 7 leds...

I mean I just need a cable to transfer energy so i can turn on the Light, the FD fuse still works, so no is not the fuse.

Then solder that cable out of the back light fuse to the FD fuse directly or just to the four pin connector where the flex cable used to be?

So any Ideas?

Thanks!

Ok, so I must solder two cables to extend the Flex cable?

The flex cable doesn't have any pins they fell off...

Is just flex cable cut it without 4 pins.

So I must solder two cables on the Flex cable with soldering cable to the backlight port?(where the flex cable goes)

Yes?

Thank you

you can scrape of some of the protective plastic on the flex cable ;) i did that too after that they came loose because i had to remove the screen.

make sure to put some tape on the connections when you are closing the psp ;)

I scrape off the protective plastic of the Flex cable from behind?

I did with a knife, but I think it didn't do anything just curl that part of the cable :(

Can I show you some photos of how does it look?

Please!  :beg:

Thanks
