Some problems with the mod
« on: September 17, 2008, 12:10:48 PM »
Made the mod (no chip) and it works but after a little while of using it i press the button and it still shoots but every few times a i press it the controller goes crazy and starts like automaticaly knifing and laying down. After this happens it starts to happen more and more. I also noticed that when i shake the controller it knifes by itself so im guesing their is a loose wire or something. anyone know whats wrong or had the same prooblem? :eyebrow:

There's a loose wire? LOL.
It's ONE wire dude. One wire.

And, that's weird. Solder splashes are my guess. Just buy a kit and do that, the no chip rf only works under certain circumstances, so it's not that great. Buy a kit and you'll be much happier ^_^

small part soldering 101:

use only enough heat and solder to do what you need to do, the solder is stronger than it seems... and dont over heat the board.
