Computer Problem!!!

Ok guys i bought a used dell laptop with now recovery disk it has windows vista on it and the person i bought it from didnt give me the password to logon to the computer how can i bypass it and change the password to something else so i can start using it any input will be great thanks

I use it On Call's when people forget the terminal  Password. say Like a dad or mom.  doesn't know the kids Password. Or when people drop off there PC and Don't even bother to tell me the password. and assume I know it..  It works On Vista and XP Self tested. I haven't Ran into a Password on a PC i couldn't Crack/Change.

If your having Problems with that, try making the Live CD. http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/

ok i got the formater running do i put it on quick format or create a dos start up disk or both
