Would this fit?
« on: December 19, 2008, 02:24:15 AM »
Soon (hopefully, lol), I'm going to get the Photofast 3100, the SDHC card adaptor for the psp. I was gonna internalize it into my psp by removing the UMD drive. But the thing is, I also want to put in two more batteries (so yeah, three), solder them together so I'd have more battery life (because I realized how much battery overclocking does to my psp).

Just wondering, do you think it'll all fit? Are the slim batteries smaller than the regular PSP phat?

Here's the link if anyone was wondering what the photofast was:

I want to use this rather than the dual microsdhc adapter because I heard that SDHC write speeds were slightly faster (and they're much cheaper).

Yeah I think that's what he means. Technically, you're not even overclocking it since it's designed to run at 333mhz but Sony wanted to cap it at 222mhz to reduce risk of it overheating... Also, it shouldn't eat up too much battery compared to normal, and a cr3100 and 2 batteries probably won't fit in the UMD drive area...

yeah ive done the cr-3100 internalized and getting it into the card slot and seating the wifi card back in was a job in itself plus the  3100 has to be mounted upside down and backwards in the 1001 leaving room for no more than a motorola razr battery

Sorry, I meant raised the CPU speed xD

Anyway, tonycjr23, do you have any pics of how you internalized it?
