help custom firmware problems

im trying to add 5.00m33-2 to my phat psp it keeps saying the game could not be started (80020148) my psp current firmware is 3.95 am i doing somethig wrong

Is it on custom firmware right now? and If your going to 5.00 you might as well go to m33-4.

try pressing select to go to the vsh menu and change the it to no umd

getting old is mandatory growing up is optional.

RA1N I think he's trying to run an updater which is homebrew, so the umd drive setting shouldn't do anything. What kernal you in?

Here. You need a Magic Memory Stick, which can be made extremely easily with the help of some youtube how to videos. You'll also need a Pandora battery. I suggest you look for a Datel battery Tool. Its one of the most useful tools for a PSP.

And yes. If you are going for 5.00 M33-2, go for 5.00 M33-4. Its the latest update.

But please note-If you have the latest PSP-a 3000 series, you can't get a CFW.
