buying 0603 leds

where would you guys recommend buy the leds used in doing case mods for the PSP and is there a certain voltage or anything like that, that should be taken into consideration.
secondly, how many would you recommend putting into the PSP. After so many will it not work?
sorry that these are kind of easy questions to you guys but i truly do not know and want to make sure i ask people who have probably done this before before messing with my psp and damaging it.

Well depending on the color, I bought mine from eBay 100 for $35US, they were blue. I would put one in each trigger and swap the LED's on the mobo. But usually get more because you always stuff up and if you buy in bulk its cheaper. Want a link. The guy I bought them from only sells blue ones though. I bet you could do a search for diff colors.
