soldering the Chotto
« on: January 17, 2009, 08:08:38 PM »
Hello I've been viewing Acid Mods for a while and decided its time for me
to try a mod or two. I started the Internal Camera with the Chotto.
Everything was going smooth until I had to start soldering the pins of the
Chotto. I cannot for the life of me get the wires to stay. I'm using 26 gauge
wires with a pretty nice soldering kit. Is there any other way i can get this
done with out the pain in the ass time?

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help.
Mew~

Maybe use some thinner wire, and definitely use flux.

Okay Thank you
And if you don't mind me asking
What kind of flux would you recommend?

No problem. If you need anything else I'd be happy to help :) Good luck, and post pictures when you're done!

Another good Idea is to buy solder with a rosin flux core, because it pretty much eliminates the need for flux on whatever you're soldering.

Thanks to HiddenVenom for the sig!

Ok, so i have the Flux and now i want to clarify
that it's the two most outer pins and the
five most inner pins.
