T-Shirt Size
« on: January 21, 2009, 03:55:07 PM »
i want to do some market research

What size t-shirt do you take its a cotton standard T

Measurements: Across chest (cm): XS (50.5); S (53); M (55.5); L (58); XL (60.5); 2XL (63); 3XL (65.5).

also would you buy an acidmods t-shirt to support the site.

there is no set price but i would guess it to be between $13 and $22 and all would cost the same regardless of size

OK GUYS

we found that it would cost us a fair bit of money to get a load of shirts printed to then sell on the site and we wouldn't be able to offer as wide a range of sizes.
so we whent with cafepress which allows us to offer lots of merchandise in different colours and sizes and we can change the designs as we please meaning mucho cheepo for me

http://www.cafepress.com/acidmods_shop

and it means that we still get a little kickback to support the site

I forgot that you said cotton, I probably should have voted L then.

That aside, though I enjoy the website I am unlikely to buy a T-shirt unless I really like the design. I just don't visit often enough, and though I could blame the design or the irritating little icons it is really just I've lost interest with modding my consoles for now.

Large for me I want one! Might buy an XL too just incase. Idk about everyone else but I wouldnt buy one with just the big AM logo of a PSP on it it should be more fashonable and easy to match with outfits we allready have I allways match lol. Maybe like blue lightning from left sholder to bottom right radomly and on the left side ACIDMODS in big blue silver letters going down under ur left arm?

I like the idea of a lighting bolt thing down the front of the shirt, and maybe Acidmods in the top left corner, and on the back, for staff members, etc. words like GLOBAL MODERATOR, ADMINISTRATOR, ART TEAM, etc.

i was thinking the same thing as folklord the whole time. i was just too lazy to make one

i did basically what he was saying just backwards

and the stuff that comes off the side can wrap around to the back

that shirt would be beast.

The problem with your design is that we can only make them with the design on the front and on the back.  I can't do it on the shoulders.

I can do that but it costs a LOT extra.  You see we put the design on a screen and then we use the screen to put the ink on the shirt. But it costs $10-20 PER screen so if you want that you would have to make a screen for each position (and that's kind of stupid as people switch positions a lot).

1. you could if its a professional shirt making system just you dont know how to. but design can be adjusted easily.

2. your right. i was about to say that positions arent permanent and can change at any second so it would be a waste of time and money.

I probably could get it done on the shoulder but it will be a lot harder and a pain in the butt to do.  It's easier to do it is in the center of the shirt.  But if you guys really want it there I will see what I can do.  I know somebody who has a professional t-shirt printing machine (not official name)
