good console painting guide

hey im thinking about painting an xbox, ps1, and maybe a s2 soon... any tuts u guys recommend? there are lots of tuts with different opinions and stuff. any ones u guys recommend, or do u guys have ur own way of doing it? if u have ur own way, could u post rough outline like sand x grit sandpaper, wait x amount of time, use x coat here, etc.

yes these questions have been answered 50 million times... but like, 50 million different ways. i want to know what has worked for u guys.
