Just out of intrest, I have only done this on a phat, can anyone confirm it working on a slim?

Yes, I can do it. But on a another way with the LM386 und one transistor :)

In order to give my slim a nice rumble I wired in a third speaker that only plays bass/low range sounds. When you crank the volume it has a really nice feel to it, and doesnt require interfacing with other controls

Where the heck did you find a small enough I'm not sure what else you would call it, a small enough sub woofer that would fit in a PSP?
