Adding an audio in jack to a stereo system...?
« on: May 30, 2009, 05:39:23 AM »
So I've got this Audiovox 5-CD changer/stereo system here.
Is there a way to add an audio in jack to this to use my iPod or something with it?

So, it already has one input? If so just hook up a source switcher.

Thanks for the sig dhuvrock2000

if it has a right and left aux jack (its red and white) u can get a aux jack to headphone jack. but it will be a male headphone jack. if u want a female headphone jack u can get a converter, female to female jack
btw can u put up some pics?

I'll put up some pics later. It's sorta old, I think. Meh.

I'm getting it for $15 from my step dad (We're having a yardsale and I want it lol) so I'll have it later.
I mean, I'll find a way to do this eventually. xD

It's got the 5 cd changer, and the back of it has the 2 speaker cables... I think that's it. Not sure.

O___O
I LOVE IT.
For my computer I was looking at the 505w Logitech system, though.

I think all I'm going to do is hook up these speakers to a headphone jack and use it that way. OR...is there a way to convert the audio RCA cables to a simple headphone jack?
