psp port charger with pics

ok me again i just fitted my new psp charger port but to my surprise from ebay it did nt work

i know its fitted properly and have had help and advice from you lot but i want to see if i have missed something so heres a few pictures so can anyone spot anything wrong

apart from the but were the screw goes onto the motherboard  :psp:







am sorry if some if not all of the pictures arent clear but its the best i can do :)

nope nothing happenend to the motherboard as far as i am aware. a fuse could be it cause ive had my psp since launch so maybe if so how do i check and correct?

edit

i checked the white connector things that it plugs into its solid its not moving at all and i done see the fuses :(  tobad none of you lot live in ireland i would be much happy paying you all to do it instead.

great more money.... can i charge it with out the charger port working? as in the usb mod?
is it hard to do? and can it be donw without a soilding iron?

btw if you have msn it would be easyer and faster to get an answer from you if so add

ok i ordered the new part lol and am getting my money back from ebay as i type i open a paypal dispute and have sumited the evadence so i will be richer within 24 hours (with any luck)

ok the one you linked me to lol was like 1.50 in my money lol its was 3 times less than what i payed for the broken 1.

nope no dice mate, still on square 1. me things its the charger part i bought but it could be wrong its not a fuse cause it seems too unlikely. but it could be something very stuiped like a loose wire or a wee bit of soilder has came loose after all ive had this since they came out like 4-5 years ago lol

it could be that the charge plug was broken and you were ripped off.
I'd start with trying a different plug that you know works.
