Anyone here want to mod an xbox controller for money? (details inside)

I don't need halo or rapidfire I just want to be able to use a computer interface to program
a button to do a macro..


for example, lets say I want to play a fighting game that requires the the following input:


X B Y > > A B  or something like that... I want to make it execute the sequence using a trigger press or some other button.



Let me know how much this will run and if its possible.

yes it is possible.  I could see this costing anywhere from $300-$5k depending on how robust and productized you wanted it.   

Dont they make fight sticks that do this? must be something on the market that will work.

If you learned how to code microcontrollers you could do this, but would be a lot of trial and error and "bit banging" for each macro you made.  programming macros is easy enough, it is user input of the macros that will be difficult.

it could just be a box with wires.. as long as it can do the macros id be happy


and if u could hook up something to the xbox port that would be sick too like a computer program or device that can just send commands via usb

how would I get a macro to execute-- I can use the keyboard and map the keys but can I map multiple keys is the real question.

cant the spitfire mod do this? is there any more support for the spitfire? I cahve the chips, but never got around to building it. a picaxe chip would also work.

you could buy the parts and then post a thread and ask here. just give the links and all the info you can, and be specific to help the modders understand. im sure someone will help, i dont do 360's but i will try to help as much as possible.
