Question about slim buttons? :?

Hi, I am about to attempt in placing LED's in  my slim buttons.  I was wondering do all of the different colour buttons have a clear coating ontop of the buttons like the original ones you get from when buying the psp?

the origional white slim buttons are painted on the back so clear at the front.

Some OEM Buttons have the clear front. Aftermarket buttons generally are a solid color

I believe the madden and god of war psp's are solid
