this mod looks awsome. This is the question I can't find an answer to. maybe because i'm stupid but i just want to no...if razor 2 needs cfw?

And another question. does the analog comletely replace buttons? or could you use the buttons at the same time as the new stick? could you lets say press triangle ad dwn on the new stick. or does 1 over power the other?

no you can use the buttons at the same time.  I used the sony ericcson joystick and didn't have to move the power connector.  It is a little higher then the original but it works great.
