LEDs on Switch?

I want to put the LEDs of the XYBA buttons on a switch, so that when the switch is "flipped" the lights go on.

How can I do this?

wire the lights and break ground with the switch

i thought of doing this with a pic chip and a tactile button on the back
have the pic programmed to act as a on off switch with the push of the tactile and you could also program different flashing mode's into it. or something like that.
only thing is im not a coder so cant right the code for it myself
if any1 can that'll be cool
have so it can run like 5 seterate led's or 5 sets of leds, and a tactile push button for mode changing.

6 Mode ..  On all LED on
               Chaser LED IN pair
               Chaser ONe LED at a time
               Flash
               On Only when the Butt is Pres 
               OFF

Oh yeah insted of the Tact I use the SYNC on the controller

n yeah usin the sync t change mode is evan better then a extra tactile !!!
