2n2222 transistor or lm386?

what are the advantages of using the transistor or the amp?.. what are the advntages of using the transitor instead of direct contact? help is really appreciated.. :tup:

when you use lm386 over 2n222 u don't need to have another switch...

u can use ur wifi or hold button...

using lm386 over the direct sound reactive you can switch ur leds on/off...

using 2n2222 over lm386 is you can have a better pulsing to it than the lm386...

Also, the 2n2222 transistor requires less power to work. Personally, I'd use a Im386 on a psp 1000 and the 2n2222 transistor on the psp slim. I found the transistor mod on a psp 1000 didn't work as well compared to using it on a slim.

you can get the lm386 to do the exact same thing that the 2n2222 does with a little modification to the schematics, I did it to one of my PSPs in this video...

all the LEDs are driven by an lm386 thats been tweaked a bit
