In my honest opinion, I'd much rather just solder on the mod as opposed to using the glue. You can do that instead, right?...Hopefully this comes out for Ps3 too, if it doesn't, oh well.

This Mod is designed to be soldered.. glue was kind of an inside joke that turned into a viable option because BGR took the time to perfect it and give people that option, thus opening this mod up for people who dont know how to solder.

So it has been a week and I checked the Acidmods twitter page but didn't see any update on the Instafire kit. Still figuring things out? I can't wait to install this bad boy into one of those limited edition ODST controllers!

Why isnt there a post telling about the modes?
That is kind of the most important part, seeing as it would be pointless if theres just 5 modes that are the same

The five modes are not the same. Mode 5 is programmable from 0 BEING SUPER FAST TO 255 which is like melee attack. FOR instance in waw pull out the browning for instance and set it at 200 it would shoot like bolt action rifle. Now reverse that pull out sniper rifle increase the speed to that gun. Then it going to shot like a mp40 in some way. Kind off like the 50cal in cod 4 before it many patches

yes I know, Chives made a post.
But the rest of the modes are basically pointless, in fact all of them since the people at treyarch are :censored:gots.

Mode 3 is Cod5 mode with workaround for the latest patch. Just as effective as the others on the market coming in ~11SPS

Mode 2 is the standard Halo 3 speed... still effective

Mode 4 is slow mode... effective in most games.

Mode 1 is the only mode that was affected by IW's new fire cap patch.

Mode 5 there are 255 speeds... one of them should do the trick on most applicable games.

Sorry chives, I meant useless for COD 4, but so is EVERY rapid fire, it sucks so much. Even the viking controller that has the shakey hands mode(works past cod4) isnt that great because you cant aim.

Well you have 0 to 255 speed on mode 5. Trust me someone will find something that will work. You have a space 5 program interface at the bottom I notice. You have that because you know later down the road something can be added. To set here and say it some what useless is kind of strange on your part. Because 802 and MIKE and a few other had ALOT OF INPUT on it. Beside it easy for a non "modder" to put in

why not just use a pic chip if you dont suck at soldering? its cheaper and its updatable for any new games/patches that come out.
