Diy ROL fader
« on: September 25, 2009, 05:51:54 AM »
So i want to add a fader to my xbox, quite similar in function to the sickmods fader. I've already got an atmega168 controlling rgb leds with a common anode. And as i understand, the xbox 360 rol leds are also common anode. So heres my question, is all i have to do to light the leds up, is connect the cathodes to ground? Like the method i'm using with the rgb leds, I connect the ground lead of each color to it's own 2n2222 transistor, with a 1k ohm resistor going from the microcontroller I/O pin to the base pin of the transistor. and then obviously the emitter pin is connected to ground. Would this work as well for the rol leds?
