New PC build.

kay, so i was on a long drive and thought i'd toy with the idea of building a new pc
the ideas i've got at the moment (sorry for all the technical words and awesome spelling :P) are:
clear acrilyic case
1-2tb hdd
good quality sound and video card
fans with light blue leds
blue cathodes
dual layer disk drive
fast processor
maybe 8gb of ram?
lots of usb ports
temperature and cpu usage monitor with screen

thats basically what i got down on my itouch
this will be my first pc build and where im a bit vague on details can someone point out what i really mean and what i need to buy
maybe a list?
anything im missing? psu i know err not sure what else.

I think this should do the trick:

EVGA X58 Quad sli Classified mobo (awesome mobo with loads of overclocking  features and stuff.. and also has a temperature lcd mounted right on to the mobo [not sure about the lcd on this one but the X58 sli le does have one])
A core i7 940/975
8 gb Patriot ddr3 1333/1600 ram
A BFG 285 gtx / 280 gtx OC X 2 (comes with lifetime warranty)
for fans try thermaltake smart blue led fans (blue leds and have speed control knobs that you could install in PCI slots.. very very fast)
A WD 1tb HDD
A Cooler Master HAF 922M ATX Black Mid-Tower Case

I would not get a bfg made gpu. For gpu try XfX or evga, or even pny.

Anyway this will cost a lot lol. Would be a sick pc though

And for your lcd you can buy a lcd to stick in one of your drive bays.

Mobo=399
CPU=499
RAM=300
GPU=325
HDD=70
Case=100
Total=$1693
That in pounds is 1054.9

So alittle bit over your price range but it is close.
Btw this is just a estimate

what bout the psu?
is that included in the case package?
and its not including disc drive...
i think i'll start to buy parts when i get back to my own country
case first etc.
build it over a couple of months.
but hopefully she'll be a beast.

if its not too much trouble could someone write out a parts list like

Ive read though they make poor quality products, never had one myself though, I would rather play it safe with a XFX or EVGA, which I have and been very happy with.

ok so u read 2 or so bad reviews its auto bad.
its not ahrd to find bad reviews for any gpu manufacture

i have a different opinion... the card i bought is a bfg 280 gtx OC .. it came with a lifetime warranty and an anytime upgrade plan.
if there are any problems, they'll replace it and if i wish to lets say upgrade to 295 gtx. all i have to do is go through the upgrade process, ship em my card pay them the difference of price (between what i paid for my card and 295 gtx) and they'll give me a 295gtx.... i think there pretty good.... i also like evga too there pretty good to... but never any xfx so can't say much about em..

i have a xfx mobo. its good. its not realy a high end gaming mobo
it only runs one pci e x16 slot at 1.0 speed

i never knew bfg did the upgrade thing thats awesome
