I know many of you may not know me, but the long time members will be able to fill you in a bit on my past. I am one of the sites original members, as well as one of the original Admins and good friends with the site's creator (Cyber/System)

Little did you all know that I have recently joined the United States Air Force and will be gone some time this summer to start my work in the military. I know I haven't been the most active on here, but I have been lurking here for a long time now, and have seen the site change a lot since the days of the simplemachines forum.

I'm not going into a whole long story about the history of AM and my part in it, but I would like to say good bye for now to the friends I have made, as well as to Kicks (just kidding buddy).

I may still be around from time to time, but will probably not be making any ventures into the world of AM for a good while now. If anyone wants to keep in contact with me, or is interested in learning anything about my life/the world of the USAF just let me know. I use Skype (rare but still use it) as well as AOL Instant Messenger. Leave your name here if you want me to add you to the list.

To Robin, you can remove my moderation/administration abilities if you wish, in case my password ever got hacked (cough Shawn cough). If you ever need me you got me on Facebook buddy

Alot of my friends have joined the military and the airforce, i myself have really wanted to but i cant due to a disability, I have nothing but respect for those that serve their nation. Till next time bud.

Going to be training to be a fighter pilot, they said you had to be a little crazy in order to do well in training, I showed them I was over-qualified in that area

I'll be in from time to time around here for the next few days but my life has become PT at home as well as volunteering in my community before I leave it for good.

Yep we do,at the forefront of peacekeeping in Syria,Darfur,the Lebanon,as well as other parts of Africa and in the middle East,extremely high standard of training.Sure you won't see much real action,but I'm more of a pacifist,I'd rather live this life without taking anyone elses personally!
(Also the Irish army invented the concept of Guerrilla warfare,leaders such as Che Guevera modeled their tactics on those that the Irish used)

You do know the dutch have some of the best special forces right? I dont want to brag but it's the truth.
Loads of americans/germans and french people come here to learn to fly a fighter yet, dono why though.

oh, and the best military in the world is not america or china....it's france.
The French Foreign Legion, you DO NOT wahtn to stumble on them....trust me. I've been to their trainingcamp once (close to a summer house from my uncle)

btw, IRA is not like the military and you cant just call them dude....

for starters learn to take a joke,

. there is a difference between military and 'special forces' and the FFL falls into the 'special forces' category (it's a special detachment of the french military created specifically to circumvent french laws and allow foreigners to serve in the french military). Yes the FFL is an amazing special forces group, but again is not necessarily the best, nor do they make the french military 'the best'. I don't think that anyone can really say which military is 'the best'. you can say who is the largest, or who is the best funded, because those are tangible. the only way to determine which military is 'the best' is to literally pit them against each other, and no one wants to or is willing to do that in order to stake claim to such a ridiculous title as 'the best military'... as for stumbling on the FFL, no I wouldn't want to, nor would I want to

with any military's special forces division...

I don't want to get into a 'who's military is better' argument as that gets no one anywhere... you are comparing single military divisions to one another under the claim that this makes an entire military force 'the best' and that is not so. when comparing military forces one must take into consideration all factors (and accounting for all branches of that country's military forces ie. army navy air force), meaning military activity, manpower, equipment, tactics, ability to project military forces beyond their own borders/boundaries, and the ability to fund, grow, support and implement these factors in actual usage. Now if you do that, there is an answer, and the answer is clear...

ok Deda,I mean no offence,but seriously,but ask anyone,the Irish military are the best fighters in the world,we might not have super flashy technology,but if we were the size of the american army you'd all be speaking Gaelic.
We invented guerrilla warfare,the only reason America hasn't won the war in Iraq is because the Iraqi's copied our fighting style.
We have won the world sharpshooting championships years in a row,our special forces train all around the world with squads like seal team 6.

Sorry dude,but the Dutch army just doesn't hold a candle to the Irish,and I'm not saying that because I am Irish,I'm saying it because it's the truth...

The MODERN IRA is fail,but the OLD IRA (which my grandfather was in) were a group dedicated only to the cause of Irish freedom and Catholic emancipation,while now the are just drug runners and terrorists.

im not saying our army is, our normal army sucks. they piss there pant most of the time.
we got loads of nutjobs in the special forces, they are good. the rest is just a gigantic failure.
