curious about a possible psp mod

is it possible to replace a psp 1000 screen with a screen from a slim or 3000? they're much better, i would really like one. plus, being thinner, i may be able to clear a little space in the psp. i doubt it is or it would have been done but i have to be sure

cant say for sure as Ive only modded the 1000. but looking at the way the housings are constructed, I highly doubt you can switch them like you are asking
