psp turns on but wont stay on

my psp keeps shutting down rite after it turns on

problably bricked try using a pandora battery to install custom or official firmware and it will turn on (if it is actually bricked) ,anything else i dont know hope this helps.

i think this hapened to me once on my slim and somebody told me something about a power fuse that you have to bridge look that up it might be the answer.

i had 14 leds and a lm386 all i did was unsolder those and remove them.but now it dosent work

hmmm... maybe try comparing your mobo to a working one to see if you accidently bridged or chipped of one of those tiny resistors. might be the problem.

i have another psp phat but the screen dosent light up so there might be something wrong with that one too!:(

if the conection isnt ripped then it might be that you blew the backlite fuse if you bridge it it should light up.

There should be a blob of solder somewhere. That happened to me when i try to change all the colors of my LED. Try finding it with a magnifying glass. I could be small blob of solder that caused the short.

  for the screen this already happen to me it's only the backlight fuse broke solder over it and it'll work          google it to see where is the fuse placed
