LCD Screen not getting power
« on: November 02, 2010, 11:35:42 PM »
While I was in the process of putting my PSP in a new housing, I got everything in and the realized the Home button ribbon wasnt responding. I opened it back up, put it in better, turned the PSP on, and the LCD screen was black. I heard the start up sounds and the keys worked. What could be the problem with my screen? I run CFW 5.50 gen D3.

1. Home Bar button, always the trouble here, me also, particularly when you do every single mod, including housing/shell mod

solution: trim the home bar's sprig exactly below it (might need just a bit), and tighten the LCD onto the 3 - 4 clips, check it on every corner side

2. LCD, this could be may problem associated with it, mine, I never had any problem with the fuse so far, but there might be little tips for you

solution: avoid any short contact, tighten the ribbon with soft tweezers, and gently pull them up, you might want to check it without closing the faceplate, so you can figure out whats happening
