PSN-purchased content cannot be carried over to Xperia Play
« on: February 15, 2011, 07:09:33 AM »

for those that went and purchased psone games off the psn store will not be able to
transfer them to your new  Xperia Play from your ps3 but fare not you can still play them as all you got to do is sign in to the psn store from your Xperia Play and redownload them.it come's preloaded with Crash Bandicoot 1 for you to pass the time.

The confirmation came from Nathan Vautier, managing director for Sony Ericsson UK and Ireland. "[Xperia Play owners] will have to repurchase the games, so it's not totally integrated," he said. "I think the exciting thing is that there are games which people are very, very aware of."In addition to the Andoird Marketplace, the Xperia Play will also have its own access to the PlayStation Store. This will be made possible with the PlayStation Suite, which will be launching "later this year." This service was announced at the PlayStation Meeting 2011, the same event that saw the unveiling of the NGP.

The Xperia Play will have 50 games from 20 publishers on its lineup at launch, but it's rather disappointing that you won't have access to the other content that you already paid for.

update:
Beyond Asphalt 6: Adrenaline and Star Battalion, you'll see Assassin's Creed, UNO, Let's Golf! 2, Spider-Man: Total Mayhem, Modern Combat: Black Pegasus, Real Football 2011, Brothers in Arms 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction at launch on March 29.

will be preloaded

so wait... the first paragraph says all you have to do is redownload them again?  after purchasing the xperia license for it in addition to the one you already have?

im confused by your "fare not" because it sounds like we will be paying twice for the same content.
