ps3 bmu v1 questions?
« on: May 29, 2011, 01:56:36 PM »
i was trying to install it in my ps3 dual shock v4, but it wouldn't work, i tried the v2 code and also some other hex's on post, i decided to get some pre-programmed pic12f683 rapid fire on ebay, i just wondering could i read the hex on the chip or would it be protected, is there a way to break through the protection, and also if i tried to read it, would it erase it self

I'm sorry my friend but many before you have had the problem with the v4 boards. And many have  asked about the write protection on chips. Simple answer is no. When the chip has the fuse burn it can't be read no more. Unles u have acid and a microscope powerful enough and able to read code out of looking then it's not possible. Sorry. :/
