The long awaited release of SMf 2.0 gold edition has finally been released. over the next few weeks, we will be coding the forum to work with it, and testing functionality. this will bring new features and life to our great community.

there will be a absence of admin on the current forum during this time, I need all globals to keep a lookout on the forum for anything out of the ordinary and contact myself if there is a problem. As most of my time will be dedicated to the new site design. you can view progress at www.aciddev.com/forum3

while I am a good code writer, I am not an artist, I need someone with photoshop to edit images for me please let me know who will be willing to help.

please use this thread to list any items that may not be needed in the new site, and maybe a wish list of things you would like to see in the new site.

thanks to all the members and staff who make this site the great community it is. you guys are what its all about.

@whitetop, the corners need to be rounded
@denali, the blue is not dark enough, and the corners are slightly off. check the bars on the test site, those are yours

I was looking it over just a minute ago and compared my blue to the one on am and I noticed my fade was to light. I will fix and upload again.
The corners were rounded, idk what happened.
edit: checked my corners are good, it something the site is doing i think.

sorry the corners are good, the code is giving a shadow I am working on it. just adjust the color, everything else is good

- Shoutbox is short
- Bars look sweet
- "New" graphic next to topics needs changing
- The minimise column button's graphic needs changing

shoutbox is default, it changes in settings not code, Im not setting it up that far, it will just have to be redone

yea, I need to change all the small images, I think the new sticky and lock symbols should stay so i have to go one by one

The top bars are repeats of a smaller image. Won't work.

I'm confused Matt, what do you need? Do you want just a solid color to replace the shaded buttons or a color fade? , or am I on a different idea entirely.
Can I make a theme?

I dont like the shading on the buttons, I would like you to give me one without any shading, and maybe a few other options, like reduced shading, different color shades, etc.

"can i make a theme"...not sure what you are asking. the picture pack is posted above to make any color theme you want and I will insert it as an optional theme, the site needs to stay in the acidmods formatted theme, or it wouldnt be acidmods. We may be open to other ideas, but robin would have the last say.

By make my own... I meant can I submit my own versions of your images posted. Color changes , highlights etc. I would love to do a red version exactly like the current blue version. Maybe a lime green version too.

yes, these are perfect, I will upload and test them tonight. do you have the color code for the colors you used? I need it for all the boarders and lines all over the forum, also, look in the zip folder I provided and make the orbs match your colors also.

what os do you have, windows should be able to open the zip file no problem, download the file, right click and open with windows explorer. if you have problems I can unzip and upload them tonight or download winzip, it has a 45 day free trial, then I uninstall it and reinstall it for another 45 days...over and over. lol
