rodent i think he is practicing airbrushing on the hotweels carsvery nice - how detailed can you go - could you paint on the headlights and door handles
I though this was a work log on a PS3 GT 5 theme i dont see any modding getting done on this just a bunch of pics that has nothing to do with what you first posted
Wetfusion i always liked your work , as for painting yea you done some cool stuff, and I am sure that the PS3 will come out nice, but as for small detail on the cars I did that stuff when i was in the ages of 5 to 9... nice job, keep up the good work, just hope to see this finished like your designe started.
in the end you can see how this will relate to the end result of doing this ps3 mods.as you can see bro the paintwork that was done is a whole new level compared what you, or any other modder here have done. im not using cheap spray cans, instead im using a high quality 2K paint. and you can see that is the red that i will be using for the PS3. its starbright red met.and as we speak now bro, im doing another hotwheels with not just a simple paint. im talking about doing a single letter which is in the size of an ant like in this picturethere's a limit on how small you can go with an airbrush, and i just learned how to get even smaller. you just have to see it next week.doing a cut in the case, spraying a base coat and throw in some led is easy.but doing a detailed design like my previous workits in a different level. things need to be try out and perfected first before its being done on the real thing.and trust me dont worry too much about if this thread will end with me not finishing it or not. i have been around since 2008. done countless of mods here. sure my post here is not as much as yours, but i can assure you i have been posting more mods here than you .
really? you have access to lacquer at the age of 5? can you explain the process?
are you telling me you painted those logos with an airbrush?
thanks for the interest hyper999. its a new technique. i will share it when i finish the work.
Ok, so not with an airbrush then, good.If I had to guess at how I would say you did it with something like those little decals you get with Airfix sets, the ones that come on a sheet, then you wet them, pick them off the sheet with tweezers and place them on the model.
LOOKIN AWESOME WETFUSION!!! keep up the good work!
It couldn't have been decals, how the hell would he have the custom logos then? He said it was a new technique, decals is not a very new technique.
10 seconds on google and I now know you can make custom decals quite easily. http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/Transfer-Paper-Decal-paper-Quick-Tips-To-Using-It?ugid=10000000003583358And as far as I'm concerned using decals like this is a new technique when it comes to the console modding world, have you ever seen a case mod that uses them? cos I certainly haven't. But hey ho, I guess we we'll just have to wait and see :P
i guess you get that 80% right bro :Pizzit ez? ahh man for me i cant say so, i have been try and errors on this stuff a lot of times. here's atip. use laser inkjet printers that have high DPI.the other 20%? lies on how to clear coat it to make it look like its not a sticker.
i guess you get that 80% right bro :P
10 seconds on google and I found decals on consoles. He said it was a new technique and as far as I'm concerned using decals isn't a new technique when it comes to the console modding world.
