after hours of messing with this broken slim the dvd drive didn't work when i got it and would just power on.. was able to fix the dvd drive. and got the cool-runner working.. this was my first attemt at a RGH...and it works. boot time not to bad either

This looks like its gonna be good. I am gonna keep an eye out on this one. Also If you need Crayons Try the BST im sure someone can help you.

Thanks guys for the veiws, and comments. being this is the first xbox 360 mod i ever done. its very challenging and trying to think of things to do and where to put the stuff is impossible to think it out a head of time.

Here is what i went buy to change the ROL.. but once you take a slim apart you can see its very simple to do, just like changing the ROL leds on a controller just have to be careful and follow the instructions here

the cool runner is the chip used to "glitch" the console.
the other box is a nandx. it is used for flashing the nand and programming the coolrunner.

as for the anything i missed. i dunno :p.

I see looks pretty good. I thought it was a way to control the fan or something with the name like that.

I have come to a holt in my project X-Reaper... the Mod i and trying to do just doesn't have enough room in the controller to pull off the ultimate controller mod...The object of having it all in the controller and working, Seems to be impossible to do, and limited space to make this ultimate controller .Also to get the full affect of what I am trying to do. With todays technology, I thought it would be very simple process to put it all in the controller and make this work, (NOT GIVING UP ON THE IDEA) just Not alot of room to put all in such a small place and have the controller fully operation. but we will see what happens and hopefully figure this out.

This is the reason why i haven't done anything in quite sometime now , totally trying to map this out and make it fully fuctional and trying to keep the rumblers intact still and with out hacking the controller case all to peices. In other words keeping the parts all inside and keeping the controller stock looking.

I am unsure if we are allowed to give suggestions that would help. So, until I am told it is ok to give you advice on how to make something that is big, a lot smaller, I won't tell you lol.

Ok, so I got the go-ahead. So, what I suggest that you do to make it smaller is make an SMD layout of it in a cadsoft program such as eagle. You can then send the files to a pcb production company or whatever and they will etch the board for you. This can reduce the size of whatever you are putting together by at least 50% (it all depends on how close together you can put everything in the design)

Thanks for the info, but what i am trying to do is already pretty small, also trying to get the parts to build another circuit board, for in the controller, (this may come down to where both circuit boards i built, still might not fit in the controller, I would like to keep the rumblers in tack if possible, but we will see what happens, also undecided on which controller shell to use, the blue one would give more affect on what i want to do yet the polished black one matches the console. Thanks for your help.

Not sure if it will be a power issue due to the smaller batteries I have found dont't take up that much space and they put out enough power to power the controller and the circuits boards i am building to and trying to compact everything in such a small place .... and keepng the controller looking stock from the outside. other then some tact switches ...

@ rodent.. didn't mean anything bad by it but you always seem to come out on top, with your mods and from what i tried to do , is to compete with the best , being my First RGH i thought i would be up there with crazy-modder and yourself rodent.

Its getting close , yet My controller mod will have to be put on hold... till a later date

just didnt go as well as it has planned but i will make sure that the controller gets done and is presented to acidmods

hopefully i can finish this console and will be impressive untill sunday night more pics revealed
