JDM 011 the chip overheats

Hi

I have a problem with the jdm 011 controller
the chip marked in the picture overheats
after disconnecting the tachpad the problem disappears.
however, the LEDs do not work then

What is a tachpad?

If you mean the Touchpad, that connector has nothing at all to do with the LEDs.

The connector for the LEDs also goes to the micorUSB connector. Check the cable ends for damage, as it does not take much for them to fold over and cause shorts. If you are not using the correct cable and JDS board that will cause issues also.
Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.
