Hi everyone, I have an Xbox series s controller that has a battery pack that charges directly. I plugged in my USB C cable into the controller directly instead of the battery pack and left it for a while. When I finally picked it back up to use it wouldn't turn on. No sign of power at all. And the controller doesn't even vibrate when plugged anymore. The battery pack still works in other controllers and I've also tried AA batteries. What could possibly be the problem and is it something I can fix quickly?
In any case, it's not too much of a financial value for me not to try. So I ordered it, I'm going to try it and then give feedback.

Use the values in the 1708 schematic.
I haven't seen a board that had J2 on there. J3 is the only one they seem to have populated, and both are just extra ground connections between the 2 boards, so it will still work with one or the other, or even neither of those there.
