resolder dpag (again

)
remake cable
Rewire controller
put shoulder leds back in.

Get drunk.

wow, thats lookin tight, keep it up! and idk how ur doing it, cuase after i solder small ass things for a while i just get pissed off when one brakes, so props for stickin with it

I got it in a computer shop in london. You can get them anywere. Mine was quite expensive for some reason. But I am pretty sure you can get them for a few $s.

It was the bit where the pda went. But if I remember rightly you can get them without anything on the end and there cheaper that way.

ooooo, so u had ur PDA attached to the side where the PS2 controller is, and the sucktion thiny was so it could stick onto junk right?

Little update. I've rewired the contoller, the [] x button usb, picked up a retrocon (I may do the internal analoge mod too) made a new cable that looks pretty. Just a wating game now.

This thread is now alive again!

Cyber's mobo arrived to day (thanks man).

Just tryed it out. No problems. The broken backlight clip isnt an issue. I just had to lift up the prongs and slide it in, holds in tight and the back light works!

I am going to get this started now. I am wating on a replacement shell for the ds so thats on the back burner for now.

Look up a few posts.

I have had a couple of ideas since I last worked on this. One is using the wifi for the lighting (but I'll probably have them on all the time).

The other is to have the colour change when the psp is docked with the controller. Not sure I'll do thast though as I just want it finished.

I havent been able to close the case yet. theres too many wires in there. But it looks like it'll work.

Well I learned alot from the first try at this. I've now got a better iron and some other stuff. Just rewired the usb's.

One thing thats worying me slightly is the controller led's. Last time I tried them out one flickering. Hopefully it was a just the way I was testing it. I dont want to open that rats nest ever again.

I want to put a custom firmware on this. I've never done it befor. Dose anyone think its to risky? I'd kill myself if it bricked.
