The 360 controller led swap is easy anyone with soldering experience can accomplish this task
Tools Needed:
Soldering Iron (15 watt is ok)
Security T8/Phillips Screwdriver
Rosin Flux(If needed i Didn't use any)
Xcato Knife
Solder
Tweezers(or anything of the kind to hold the led)
Items:
LEDs
First you will need to dissemble your 360 controller (you will need a security t8 screwdriver unless you have a wired controller in which you would need a Philip screwdriver) start out by removing the screws that are in red boxes and the blue box shows a hidden screw under a sticker
after that take the back of the controller off and remove the rumble thing by simply unhooking it from where its highlighted in red
well then what you need to do is to flip the controller board over and you will see 4 LEDs (there highlighted in red) this are the stock green one you must pry them off with the xcato knife and then grab your choice of leds and solder them on i still haven't found the resistor to bridge to make them look brighter but i think there bright enough
then just assemble Your controller again and it should be working this is what mines look like( Tried different colors so you would see what it look like)
Hope my tut will help a lot of you people out who also want to do the led swap!
