Slim PS2 mod Ideas

I lack originality for this one so was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, I want it to either be clear or have a window im not sure.

Can you guys help me?  :tup:

What would you say is the best LEDs to use for the ps2?
I bought 0603 SMD LEDs but im sceptical that they'll be bright enough. Thoughts?

they sell clear cases for them, and you could fill it with led's

sounds ahrite, I was looking into it and I probably will jsut get a clear coloured case of some description and fill it with GLOW =P

on my old ps2 i cut out the HIM logo on it and backlit it and it looked awesome,then my bro knocked my ps2 off the tv and totally fu**ed the thing,it looks awesome u shud try it,if your doing a clear case try forsting a design on it,cut out a stencil in plastic ( a cd case is perfect for this),and run then sandpaper throughtout the stencil,lift it and you got a lovely frosted design!then backlight it and the frosting diffuses the light making it POP!

I have 2 LED light kits for a SLIM PS2..

It plugs in your internal power source, theres like 7 5MM LED's but they are multi colored...

Ill get a video in a few days...

thanks edhel, clears things up ... I wanted to use el wire but that stuff is just crazy .. i like the glow but not seeing the bulb so it will go in something else me thinks =]
