ok so the big holes to the left and right of screen are for speakers that i found out at the last min arent gona fit so i gotta get some smaller ones. im gona put leds in the case.also im going to do the mouse mod and wire a dual nub controler to mini usb ports so u can play games on a ps1 controler and play 1st person shooters with mouse and keyboard like pc

ok guys i need some help im no artist but in my mod when its closed i need a graphic to be on the top something that has like acidmods logo with lightning and says folklord36 in the bottom right hand corner. i m going to print graphic and put in my case you will def be credited it has to be about the size of a psp.well hopefully someone makes me a graphic but i will have pics up tonight im almost satisfied with it.

This is very nicely done, did you use the hinge and cover from a Logitech case? It looks quite solid. There’s a lot of mods converging in this thing, you just might have the most modded PSP ever when it’s all done. Also, I like the way you have arranged the ribbon cable. Giving it room it to slide back and forth distributes some of the tension throughout the ribbon which will keep it from stressing out and breaking, good design.

Is the keyboard functional now, or are you still working on it?

all software is done for the keyboard i just need a pic programmer to flash the new firmware to chatpad

hmm, looks good, add a floppy disk drive and ur set xD
yea yea floppys disks are old. but like cover up the ribbon, it looks out of place there lol. ehm, wut else to say.. lol, if you can get ur umd drive to like shoot out like a real labtop thad be cool, and adding leds with the speakers and having it sound reactive=AWSOME lol
btw wuts tha switch on the right hand side?
hope you get the keyboard worken

Lol, hes gonna be putting in USB mass storage here soon, im almost done, just need a PIC Programmer and psp to test on. Got the Whole assembley and code done.

lol thanks luke. and thanks everyone for the suppourt i am going to re do this with a cool graphic that ken is makeing for the top that will match the god of war psp and im going to re do this a a red slim laptop psp. my sdhc adapter should come in tomarrow and i allready have a sd slot and and i might be able to do sdhc card mod ,internal mic, speakers and leds today or tomarrow and im going to order my usb mini today.

Very interesting! I will like too see the final design of this when you get it.
Just a few questions and please don't take me wrong yours is a nice idea:
-I am afraid a little bit that the screen's ribbon cable is supporting too much movements, i don't know if there could be a way for protecting it or internalize it a little bit more. May be you could have the screen, the wifi board and the mobo in the same part of the laptop and use ribbon cables to the other case to wire the power board and the buttons, though this seems a little bit messy.
