controlling led with out chip or switch

This is just a thought but could u control led with a plugin like ledcontrol but add stuff like fade. If that is possible than you can pretty much make a AkariPSP multi-color by hooking up the other 2 colour to - of the mem stick and the wi-fi led. If this is all possible than some one please make so thing like the AkariPSP multi-color or at least a AkariPSP single-color plugin.
