I use a a small flat head screw driver to get the controllers open. i think it wokrs great.

yeah if youre gonna get a tool to open that thing, dont waste the $ on that stupid torx karp...
use a small screwdriver and breakoff the tiny center posts on each of the screws, then get a slightly bigger one to unscrew the thing

you wont have to use the tiny driver again btw

I dont know if you have a harbor frieght tools near you but they have all kinds of security screw drivers/bits like dirt cheap, you can even order from their site. Best damn place for tools cheap bar none!

yes they ship to the US, Their headquarters is in the states. I live in Illinois on the missouri boarder near saint louis, I frequent the stores in both states. Excellent place for modders. I went to harbor freight last weekend to get some torx screwdrivers. It was only 5.99 for a pack of 32 bits with the screwdriver.

But the set didn't come with a T8 security so I might have to break off the little pins.
