a quick question xD

hey I was just a bit confused about the razor x in the phat. I just need to know one thing, in this picture:

where the solder dots are is that all I need to solder my wire too?
or is it like this?

and I need to scrap away the insulation where the color lines are and then solder my wire onto that whole copper trace under the insulation.
I would rather only have to solder to that one point.
If someone could just run me through that part that'd be great thanks

Well those "solder dots" are connected to the vias for the button traces, so yes you can solder to them ( just make sure you scrath away the solder mask (insulation) from the via before you try to solder to it.... But you can also solder to the "colour lines" as long as you scrape of a bit of insulation.

If you flip the power switch board over you can solder to the traces on the back, providing you scratch off the insulation, as you can see they are connected to the button traces on top by the via - the small copper plated holes.
