Well those "solder dots" are connected to the vias for the button traces, so yes you can solder to them ( just make sure you scrath away the solder mask (insulation) from the via before you try to solder to it.... But you can also solder to the "colour lines" as long as you scrape of a bit of insulation.If you flip the power switch board over you can solder to the traces on the back, providing you scratch off the insulation, as you can see they are connected to the button traces on top by the via - the small copper plated holes.If you need a picture of the back traces ill find you onehope this helps
