Hi all , here a schematic to have an effect of pulsing with your LED :

Arioch, that is a very nice mod.  I love the lighting effect you have made there.  too lazy to look up that chip you use, is it a micro or some sort of fader?

If you are looking for something for your next project, I found some stuff recently, on making a leds flicker like a candles.  Let me know if this is of any interest and I wil find you the link.

Nice job with mods.

Hi , thanks for the reply , I forgot two thing to make the mounting , the transistor is a 2N3904 , and if you down the value of capacitor , the pulsing effect accelerate , and if you up the capacitor the effect is more slow.
Test with different capacitor , and keep the effect you like .....

PS : a MC1458 is similar at  LM1458 .....

on a scale of one to ten, how hard is this? one is soldering a two wires together, and ten is building an xbox from scratch. also, how much did this cost. thanks!

WOW  I would love to do that to mine make it glow or flicker like that, does anyone have the the wireing diagram for this? and can i make it work of the sound of the xbox when playing games or playing videos or music?
