to get beta code just preorder the copy of COD 5 Limited at your local game store USA will be gamestop and you get the wall paper and beta code in email

I just called gamestop to confirm that they had my email on file w/ my pre order. The employee said that he didn't get his beta code yet either. He said that they would be giving them out in waves.

Hopefully we all get them soon. I'm excited as hell to play this game.

The pre order cost me $10. You can cancel it after you get the beta code too. I read somewhere that it is guaranteed you get the beta code too.

actually there are forums and game websites offereing givaways for codes, and i know there was a french site... so idk its kinda widespread and random. they should have given all of our members beta codes

because i bought an elite last week and i also got cod4 but i love it even though im not that good. i plan on getting one of cybers ultimate controllers and get a rapidfire kit fitted to it.

They clearly state that preorders for CoD5 can not be canceled and the beta codes are only while supplies last. You got some bad info from someone.

I just preordered this afternoon, and they emailed me the beta code an hour ago.

It's pretty ignorant when people horde codes and then sit on them trying to turn a buck. The purpose of a beta is to get feedback, report bugs, etc. The less people playing, the less of a chance to get help.

I really hope those idiots preordered thinking that they can just cancel their order later. That way they get stuck losing their deposit.

I want more.... to sell or give to people I know. I figured it out though. I just went to gamestop.com and double checked that they had my email. I should have it soon. Hopefully tomorrow.

HA!!! I $hit you not... I just checked my email and they sent me a second code. It's kind of hard to make out in the pic, but you can see my gamestop order at the bottom followed by the beta code they sent me, both the same day. And then second from the top, today they just sent me another code.

And yes, they're both different codes.

On a side note, after playing the beta for awhile, I'd be willing to bet that CoD5 won't sell as good as 4. The new one plays just as good as 4. But that may be it's downfall. It's just as good; not better.

there are many places giving out beta codes the first on was the call of duty website. if you go to the gamestop site there is a tab for the beta code. it will ask you for your email and preorder product code on the reciept. just put in anything. I got two more codes on the 15th like that. it takes 12 hrs to go through, and they may have fixed it by now, but worth a try
