Thanks to Nintendo's simple PCB design which lables everything it was not hard to fing the power and ground locations...

Woot that chip looks mighty snug in there thanks Nintendo.. Also we have a convenient spot to place out activation button next to the sync button..

Looks so pretty she is ready to be turned on!!!!

We love having a activation led to let us know what mode we are in....

Can you post an install diagram for those that don't want the LED?  I'd rather keep the installation even simpler and just guess which mode it's in.  I'm not a fan of flash.  I assume just leave pin 2 alone and still give pin 1 power?

Also, I have a couple extra remotes (7 total and only need 4).  I would love to play around with an always on unit.  What would happen if I shorted 4 and 8 to ground, gave 1 power and wired 7 to my button of choice?

One last question, what all comes in the kit? The chip AND the switch (wire?  I'm all out)?  The product page says chip only.  It seems that was to get accross to people NO WIIMOTE but I wasn't sure if the switch was incuded.  My radio shack doesn't sell that switch and getting them to order force feed is a PITA.

With all that said and asked...AWESOME JOB!  You guys rock!  I figured we would never see a Turbo remote since Nintendo will not license these things to anyone else.  THANKS!

They won't give you the source.
I recommend you purchase the kit from the acidmods store.
But if you want some code I wrote then message me, it works, and is simple.

Awesome!  Thanks for the info.  Can someone also get to at least this:

IF you don't Want the LED than Just Leave Out Pin 5 .. thats it .. only 4 pin to wire up .. there only 2 mod any way

Thank you very much for that!  My orders will be in soon.

I hate to be a bother, but now I have one more clarification:

only 4 pin to wire up

Your first diagram showed a switched ground going to pin 4 but in the new diagram it was moved to pin 2 and nothing on 4?

Don't worry about pins moving around, these are microcontrollers that can be configured anyway the programmer desires.  Some pins have additional functions, so not every pin can do the same job, but for the most part all the pins can be used as inputs and outputs.

I think you may be looking at this like a chip with a special funtion like a 555, it is not.  It is more similar a computer in that it can be set up in many different configurations, with endless amounts of functions through custom firmware programs that are loaded to the chip.

Hope that clears it up for you, and don't worry about being a bother....there is no such thing as stupid questions, just stupid answers :winker:

What I meant by my question is that you stated "only 4 pin to wire up" but your new diagram has no 4.  I just wanted to make sure you meant pin 2.

Thanks again!

I think by "4 pin to wire up" Mike means that you only have four wires to solder for the entire install.
Hope this helps you.

PSP Rapidfire isn't happening apparently.
I did it ages ago anyway.
It is just too simple, and useless.

the black and and Red is the + and - for the 603 SMD led ..  that thing at the end is the led pre solder for you

there is also another one that is not solder its a extra one .. in your kit

why they are 2 switches .. 2 color red /black pick one what ever you like there is no wrong answer

the pro kit i will added this week to the shop ...

Now there are 2 ver of the Wii Remote Board and some one email me the picture of the new
board i have mark the points since its Diff that the one i did the TUT on :
