LED's go weird when faceplate is on
« on: December 02, 2008, 11:05:25 AM »
Whilst doing a PSP mod for another client, some reason with this PSP, its just 2 LED's, one in each trigger, connected with the hold switch.

Its all insulated (30 AWG Kynar), I even covered all the wires with heat shrink and electrical tape, works perfectly whilst open, but when I close it, it goes weird, either the LEDs dont work at all, the PSP turns off if your open the UMD drive and sometimes, the leds are on all the time

Help me please :)

Fixed it now, Even though everything was insulated, the lcd cage has a large metal peice poking out like a....  it just pushes the wires in a really weird way, but I fixed the long way, new leds and different wirings, had to redo the whole mod, when I coulda just took a second to move the wire and save 4 leds and about a meter of wire
