Hey all, i haven't modded a psp in a little while, but i've got a phat sitting in my desk begging for some attention.
I have an idea on what i'm going to add, however i'm not sure about the colour scheme. So i'd like your ideas, what does the acidmod crew like in a psp. the best ideas will be made for this console

I've tried making a tri coloured psp before, but i didn't like how it looked, Far to 'confusing' a look to pull off correctly.

I made something similer for grenade girl (mate of mine here). I do love black and UV, they fit togethr very well as a colour scheme

with a tri colour you could have it so that each colour scheme is individually switched so that you could alter the colour for your mood.

I'm not sure why you'd want lasers on your psp. Also solar charging, although it may work, isn't really practical. It would take forever to charge, and besides, who wants to leave their psp out in direct sunlight?

laserz - to blind the competition when playing adhoc

solar - to tricle charge whilst your playing in the park it gets you those few extra minutes of play time which is all that counts

Button lighting is something i want to add to it and I was looking into the whole solar charging conscept and it is possibal to make.
I might try a fiber optic mod on the back of the psp. i've always wanted to try that. But i'm still not sure what colours to go with.

Has anyone ever done a buton lighting where when you press the button the LED lights up? This of course would require a lot of wiring tapping into of course.

Yes,it has been made many times, ive seen it on Xboxs, Guitar Hero Guitars, and On PSPs, search it up on google :P

Now for my idea, Hmmm, I was looking threw PacSun The Other Day and saw this bikini top with a cool desighn, on side was like a black and white vectorish and the other had a cool redish desighn, I say you should do that, try making a vectorish desighn and on one side it either has less vector or no vector, or no vector at all in either side, whatever you want, then on the side with less or no vector put a cool redish desigh, use this tattoo technique that I made,

That would look pretty sick,
As for the buttons, get like red buttons to go with the design, maybe get some LEDs, but red to match.
As for the ring, maybe you should get a jewel, or maybe get a red ring, or maybe a clear ring, but with red LEDs :P

The temp tattoo idea is pretty good. i was thinking of adding a tribal design on the back. this would be easier than using a stencal.
Ok, I think i have an idea what i'm going to do;

-Silver case with tribal design on the front and back
-Black trim, umd ring and maybe buttons
-White leds
-Removebal razor-x nub (usb)
-Jewel
-Speaker mod

I would love to add a knight rider led mod to the console however i have no idea how to make that. Unless anyone here has a cule?

Well the knight rider thing is called a tracer. You could make one, but you needto be able to program a pic to control the on/off of the LEDs to get that back and forth looking effect. You could probably find one on the Internet somewhere.

Type led tracer into YouTube. Some peoplebuild them on breadboards and you can see the required wiring etc.

i would suggest you to get ur case etched with designs or tribal designs or...... !!, i know it sounds weird , BTW it is very well possible , , that would be the best , and of course jewel with led's .....

The tri color sounds really cool but if your looking for soemthign to deck it out good go with
-tri color(purple, blue, green)
-jewel
-push activate buttons
-sound reactive leds

i think those would do well together.

it really depends how good you are at blending, those can all come out to come out sick, but if you suck at blending things in, screw it,

I kinda agree about the umd door thing. Or a different color faceplate from the back. I think just about any color LEDs should look good.

There's not much difference there. You're using the same colours, just in different places. It'd still look pretty messed up either way.

hmm may be to case ing a different color and a trim that would look good and have a leds as the third color. Just need a good combination.

Yeah well it'd look the best probably if you can't see all the different colours at the same time. Like only have colours that match visible at the same time. Like purple and yellow would look pretty cool so like purple faceplate and yellow buttons (dark yellow.. I don't think they sell them but they'd be awesome.) and then on the back like a purple backplate but a blue ring of light or something. Idk I think sticking with 2 colours that match really well is the best way to go.

mm may that sounds cuz if you imagine it wouldnt look bad.

i dnt think they sell those kind of cases if they do ill be surprised..

i've seen alot of colored see thru phat replacment shells are all over the net i just ordered a orange one for somebody who wanted the orange see thru shell and amber LEDs

Wow cuz onlys ones i have ever seen is see through clear witch is white and blue thats all. Think it would be good to post those sites that have them this may help others in the future.
