the red ring is hardware failure, it dosnt exactly mean its the mobo. "hardware failure" could mean burned out usb???? I am not sure, but I think that is too close to be a coincidence.
It seems you managed to not read his post again. The batteries melted and also burnt out the CONTROLLER motherboard. None of his problem had anything to do with the ACTUAL 360 itself, but gamestop replaced it anyway.
so i got home , started to charge and play.
no, child, I read the post fully, if the controller was chaging and the battery shorted out it could send voltage back up the play and charge kit and short out the xbox. you are such a child, you need to stop!! the only reason you are saying anything is becouse my name was listed here, grow up, if you acted more mature you might still be a moderator, but you are not and you need to let it go!!!!
when u get ur 360 fixed by microsoft ask them if the usb was at fault if so...then gamestop should reimburse u that 100assuming its not used(generally they dont reimburse many used things)
Gamestop is replacing the controller, battery pack, AND the 360.
