OK, I'll post pics of my three all together this weekend, but right now let me show you my latest aquisition...

PSP#3

I just picked this one up yesterday from a friend of mine, this is an original US launch unit... it got used for about a month and then put in a drawer and hasn't been used since then... this baby looks brand new except for two scratches (where it apparently got dropped) one on the UMD door/Silver ring, and one on the right on the sidejust above the silver trim...


Yes, you are seeing that picture correctly, original 1.5 firmware... it has never been flashed, or hacked in anyway, this one's a virgin, boys... and it's staying that way...

Oh, by the way I only paid $80 for it... (I got it from a friend so I gave him what GameStop would have given him)

To answer the question of why more than one PSP... many reasons, so that others can play as well, so that I can always play, even if one is in pieces for a mod or repair, you look like a gaming pimp when you have multiple PSPs, or just to make you guys jealous... there are so many reasons...

As for how can it be afforded... It's called disposable income, when you have a job, very few bills, and you don't go out to bars and clubs all the time you have disposable income... mine just happens to get spent on PSPs and other consoles...

people have multiple psps on diff versions to test out diff homebrew.  I would have 4 ideally.  One on 1.5, one on the latest firmware, one on custom firmware, and one on whatever firmware that i can customize and mod and that...  Of course, id only really play with the one on custom firmware

my PSP is nothing special!! I#m a totally noob and can't handle with ( what's the english word for "Lötkolben"?)!!!  and ontop of these i bricked my PSP a few hours later after i get it back from downgrading!!!  :cryingwaa:

You guys are all pretty lucky.
I have a PSP on 3.03OE-C without a single mod.  :dntknw:
Hopefully I'll hook myself up with one of those Camy matte white faceplates, and I'm sure it will continue from there.
I'm also pretty interested in getting the LED's going on my PSP but everything is so small I'm almost certain I stuff it up.
Thanks for showing me the pics of your PSP's aswell.
They all look awesome, hope mine looks that good one day.

Yeah, the gold dragon has Yellow triggers right now, but that's gonna change soon, I have special plans for the dragon, it's getting red triggers, a door jewel, 2nd nub, and something else I'm working on right now. It's nothing extremely special just don't wanna say till I get all the other stuff done, wanna do everything all at once, so that may be a while from now cause I may be moving again soon...

Silver skulls had some blue triggers for a short bit, took em out when I got the FP put on...

Plain black unit is staying that way... That's the launch unit I just picked up, this guy I know had it laying around and never used it (bought it at US launch played NFS:UGR for like a month and then put it in a drawer and hasn't been played since then) so when I heard about that I offered to buy it from him, payed $80 for it. It's still on it's original 1.50 firmware lol...

That's all that they have in them right now...

Blue Memory stick Led


PSP when charging and on ;) (look at the triggers they burn very soft)


UMD door mod (soon i'm going to add the jewel from a UMD)


And this is the faceplate what i've modded (made 2 holes in it so u can see the blue led when charging) (i have this faceplate now on my PSP)

yes, but the speaker hole is usually blocked by a small plastic tab... cutting it out makes the speakers a little louder, you're basically removing a baffle...
