ef0:/ (just out the CXMB folder onto the root of the memory stick)

woops my bad! i meant to say on the internal storage. im used to working with a regular psp.

None of the things work: no skin (nor the option to clear anything there), no boosted sound, no cxmb (i guess, still unsure what this does;-)).

I'll search for some more answers today.

edit; the path to cxmb was wrong as it was misplaced in the seplugins folder. I guess it works now. Can i see if the volume boost now works?

Anything else i can do with cxmb, like checking (hidden) files so i can get rid of the 6.37 crap?

No i CXMB just gives you a cool looking menu on the psp. And audioboost should work cuz it always worked good for me. Even on my psp go.
But then again the psp go can be a bit finicky with those softmods becasue the psp go uses a different firmware then the regular psp

I think all is good now, except the upgrade option is still there.

Its time to activate the permanent patch now, what exactly will this do? Will this prevent kids from accidentally push upgrade?

yeah it will disable the offical update you keep seeing and will allow you to have a recovery menu. Plus a bonus is that you wont have to activate the hack everytime you turn it on.
