I still dont understand why my idea with the AV cable wouldn't work? I mean sure it would take some mad soldering skills to attach the wires but it COULD be done.

it's the screen.

there is no portable screen that would take the SIGNALS from the av cord, at least small enough to fit INSIDE of a PSP. it can't be done that way.

lol ok im now trying to track down some parts

1 psp mobo preferebly a 1000
1 gameboy color
1 lcd screen to fit the gameboy

after i gets those 3 things i can start i have talked to the ds guy and he says after i get the screen we can procede and that it can be done

Like I said, make sure you make a work log if you do this, we ALL want a tutorial on how to make this thing if you do...

Guys I found a company that sells small lcd screens that have a standard video input. Very small footprint. I would have to find them again, I was looking into this for a video scope idea. They make screens as small as 1.8" and as big as 5" widescreen. I'll see if I can find the info again and I'll post the links here.

Okay I have another question... The psp 2000 only supports component out, not composite, so how would you use the screen?

And oh yeah. That gameboy in the picture is not a Gameboy COLOR. It's a gameboy POCKET....

With CFW you can change that I think. I know with IRshell you can also output either component or composite for games and video

no way will a 2000 mobo or any psp mobo fit in a GBP , maybe a go board would fit. but the GBC can probably take a 2000 mobo.
